Chilean Barrels                                         2017 Season

Fill your 53 gallon barrel with your personal choice or be part of our group barrels; stop by to taste, chat with Bill, & tour the wine room

CARMENERE is blended with Cabernet Franc & Merlot creating a rich dark red wine. The Franc softens the intensity of the Carmenere while the Merlot brings a fruitiness of black cherries & figs to this lush blend                                                                                                                                                Group:$315 per tenth

MALBEC offers a bouquet of dark fruits, plum & berry flavors with moderate tannins, and a touch of Syrah to add a bit of the peppery note and body                                                                        Group: $300 per tenth

SUPER MERLOT marries Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruitiness of the Merlot is balanced by the acidity of the Cab Sav, which also offers more tannins that the Merlot, creating good mouth-feel and is pleasing to a wide range of tastes                                                                                              Group:$290 per tenth

PINOT NOIR is garnet in color & we add a touch of Cab Franc to enhance the color, flavors & aromas of black currants, hints of cassis, with a bit of silkiness on the finish. This wine gets aged in a twice-used oak barrel to maintain the delicate, low tannic nature of a Pinot Noir                                               Group: $290 per tenth

SYRAH stands boldly alone offering mouth-drying tannins with big-bodied aromas & flavors of dried berries, black pepper, tobacco & smoke                                                        Group: $310 per tenth

"EL HUASO" is new this season, otherwise known as "The Chilean Cowboy," Bill plays with this one, blending four grapes & three different oaks to produce dark cherry notes with hints of mocha, spice, black pepper & sweet cola notes; velvety mouth-feel, full-bodied and a smooth finish                                   Group: $320 per tenth

CHIANTI is probably the most common "spaghetti wine" ~ served with pasta, pizza or simply just cheese & crackers, this dark plum colored table wine uses Sangiovese for the greater portion of this blend.                                                                                                                                                             Group: $290 per tenth

CABERNET SAUVIGNON ages nicely because of its thick tannic skins. This grape produces notes of blackberries, cassis, black cherries, chocolate, and black pepper. Fragrant eathy notes mixed with the berry flavors, this dark violet wine is full-bodied and lingers nicely on the palate.               Group: $300 per tenth

VIOGNIER MUSCAT is a light rose bringing smooth, slightly crisp notes of peaches, orange blossoms, and coriander. Viognier is best consumed young as it looses its aroma with age so Bill has chosen a specific yeast to help prolong the aroma                                                                                               Group: $285 per tenth

SOUTH AFRICAN PINOTAGE is a cross-grafted varietal comprised of the Hermitage (Cinsault) stock and the Pinot Noir grapes of South Africa, creating a dark red, complex wine with fruit that hangs on with age softening the dryness. Enjoyed young or after aging, this medium-bodied wine offers a blend of fruit & earthy notes from start to finish.  Harvested earlier than the Chilean grapes, this will be the first barrel of the Spring Season           (This barrel is FULL)

Pricing includes your grapes & juice, use of our equipment, instruction, storage, materials, yeast & additives, 750 ml green or clear bottles & corks; labels & shrink caps are extra. Payment of barrel (unless on a Group Barrel) and 50% deposit due with order, balance due at crushing
